Difference Between Chats, Bulletins, & Emails
Full Out provides three different options when it comes to communicating with users: chat, bulletins, and emails.
Chat
Chats are the only two-way communication option available through our platform. Anyone with Admin permissions can begin a private chat with any team, individual families, and staff members. For staff specifically, admin can begin a chat with an individual staff member or a staff group that they create. Parents will receive a push notification on the app when a chat is sent to them.
*Staff members without admin permission CANNOT send private messages unless they are listed as a coach for a team and have this setting changed directly on their staff user page under the Communications section.
Bulletin
Bulletins are a form of one-way communication that allows you to send announcements to specific classes, teams, camps, or gym-wide. In addition to posting messages, bulletins can also be used to share media such as videos or photos.
Parents will receive a push notification on the parent app when a bulletin is posted for a class, team, or camp their athlete is enrolled in. You can also send bulletins via email to ensure parents see the message.
Our email function allows you to send messages to a Marketing Segment, all users, and all staff. You can also send emails from family pages and rec and team event pages. Emails also provide you the ability to send media such as photos or videos.
