Teams

Teams are a unique type of group that allows you to build one roster for multiple different things in the platform. Each team is specific to a team session, teams can not be in multiple sessions. This is a great way to track the progression of your athletes year over year, and have the past session to refer to. By adding athletes to the roster, it will automatically enroll them in:

  • Team Chats & Bulletins
  • Tuition and Additional Fees
  • Classes
  • Events
    • Note: You can customize events to be only select members of teams

There are different ways you can customize your team:

  • Team Capacity: optional setting to set a maximum for your team
  • Team Level: optional setting to help organize different teams. If you change your names year over year for different levels, this creates a way to unify those teams.
    • To create new team levels, go to Settings > Sessions > Teams
  • Chat Settings: enable or disable the group chat for teams based on your gyms policies

Leadership vs Teachers

Currently in Full Out, you can have leadership established for your team (under the roster) with different roles. You can modify each staff member to allow them to post bulletins for the team as well.  To customize leadership positions, go to Settings > Sessions > Teams.

On the other hand, teachers are still assigned to individual classes that the team is assigned to. Leaders are not automatically added to each class that their team is enrolled in. You can have teachers assigned to the class that are not leaders as well.


Past Teams

You can still access all the data from teams in past sessions by visiting the team page. This includes classes, events, bulletins, chats, and more! Chats and bulletins will no longer display on the communication tab or be accessed by parents, but admin can always get to it.
