Marketing Email Campaigns

Marketing emails let you reach your audience with targeted messages, announcements, and promotions directly from your account:

  • Build Marketing Segments to create targeted audiences for different marketing campaigns
  • Marketing compliance requirements like unsubscribing from future emails
  • New Full Out email address with your gyms name in it for marketing and transactional emails
  • Set a “Reply-To” email address for responses
  • View email metrics like total opens, successful sends, and more

Marketing emails will be sent from a unique email address for your gym that is gymplatform@marketing.fulloutsoftware.com. For example, if you are Harmon Dance Studio, and your Full Out platform is app.fulloutsoftware.com/harmondancestudio — your email is harmondancestudio@marketing.fulloutsoftware.com. You can set a custom Reply-To for users that respond to email addresses.

How to Create a Campaign

  1. Go to Communications > Email and select the green + to create a new email
  2. Select a segment to send an email to
    1. You must have segments set up in order to send an email - and you can select multiple segments!
    2. In the preview, you will see how many users meet this criteria and how many are subscribed. Following marketing compliance and regulation, it is required to offer a way for people to opt out of marketing emails. This can be done from the marketing emails they receive or from the user profile.
  3. Fill out the email!
    1. Campaign Name: This is for internal naming purposes only.
    2. Email Subject: This will be the subject of the email in the recipients inbox
    3. Email Content: Add content and format how you need! Include photos, headers, and more!
  4. Optional: You can send a test email if you want to preview how it will look in your inbox by using the More button in the top right.
  5. Send!

Email Marketing Metrics

Once a marketing email is sent - you can click into the campaign to look at the statistics from the campaign.

  • Total Sent: The amount of completed sends. If someone had a bad email address or it bounces, this number will reflect that.
  • Open Rate: Open rates show how many recipients opened your email, but they’re not exact—some email providers block tracking or preload images, so use them as a general guide, not a precise count.
  • Click Rate: If you include a link in your email — click rate measures the percentage of recipients who clicked on a link in your email, showing engagement beyond just opening it.
  • Unsubscribe Rate: The amount of people who opted out of receiving future marketing emails from you. They clicked the unsubscribe link from this marketing email.

Marketing Email Compliance

When sending marketing emails, you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations (such as the CAN-SPAM Act in the U.S. or CASL in Canada). This includes honoring unsubscribe requests, including your business contact information, and avoiding misleading subject lines or content.
