Document Tabs: Document Content
The Document Content page is where you'll enter the information that signers are agreeing to when completing a document. While a document is in draft, you can edit the content by selecting the blue edit icon in the bottom right corner.
This page has three sections:
- Document Content: A rich text editor where you'll write the body of your document.
- Custom Questions: Preset questions that signers are required to complete when signing. You can set each question as a free text field or a dropdown menu with pre-filled answer options.
- Document History: A running log of activity on the document, including when it was created, edited, published, and more.
Downloading Custom Questions
Once the document has been signed by users, you can download the answers to all or one of the custom questions. The answers will be exported into a spreadsheet for your use.

Important Note! Once a document is published, this page can no longer be edited. This ensures the integrity of your document — so you can be confident the content wasn't changed after users have already signed and agreed to it.
If you need to make updates, you'll need to cancel the current document and create a new one.
