Custom Questions

Custom Questions let you collect information that's specific to your gym — beyond what Full Out captures by default. There are two different types of custom questions:

• Family Questions: Can be managed from the family detail page
• Athlete Questions: Can be managed from the athlete detail page

In addition - you can set the visibility to just admin or parents. When parents can see and edit custom questions, it will show in the onboarding flow and in their app. You can force this to be required as a step in onboarding, or they can skip it.

How to Set up

1. Go to Settings > Users > Custom Questions
2. Complete the information for either the Athlete or Family
   1. Question: This will show as the title for your question
   2. Answer Type:
      1. Text Box: This will be an open field where people can enter whatever they want
      2. Dropdown Menu: You will configure the answer choices, we always recommend using this option when possible to keep your data normalized.
   3. Visibility:
      1. Admin + Parents: parents will have the option to complete this custom question in onboarding and edit the answer in the parent app.
      2. Admin: parents will not see this, and it is a field only avaliable in the admin platform.
   4. Required: During new user onboarding, they will be forced to answer this question.
