Staff Groups
On Full Out, you can create custom staff groups from the admin platform! Some of the most common examples we see are recreation teachers, team coaches, birthday party staff, and more. A couple of things to be cognizant of when setting up groups:
Chat User Management
To manage the users that are in a staff group chat, click the blue person icon in the header of the chat. From here, you can see who is in the thread as well as an option to remove them. Removing a user will not delete the chat history, if there is something you no longer wish to be in that thread, you must delete the message by clicking the three dots.
If you see a red ! icon next to a users name, it means that they are no longer a staff member. Changing a users "user type" (for example staff to parent) will not automatically remove them from a staff group.
Staff Roles
Staff that has permission to see Staff Groups via the Staff Roles will automatically be able to view any staff group chats, even the ones they are not assigned to. Even though a staff member has permission to view the thread, you can still add them to a group. If you previously had someone with this permission and remove the permission, they will need to be added explicitly to that group.
